'Eggstremely' well received Easter gifts
Well this year we thought we'd do something a little different to the standard Easter card. Six chocolate eggs in an egg box, personalised for each client, for them and their teams to enjoy. They were so well received, one client has asked Ascend to do the same mailing for them next year - no yoke! (Eek... sorry!;)

Ascend spices things up for Nutmeg Productions
Our brilliant video and moving media partners, Nutmeg Productions, have finally seen the light (albeit in RGB!) and asked for a complete corporate rebrand and new website. We fought the law and Ascend won.
Kidd Rapinet Solicitors appoint Ascend.
We have come through as the favourites in a 6 way proposal pitch for a complete rebrand and website design and build for Kidd Rapinet. With 7 offices in the UK, the firm of solicitors are a rapidly growing organisation. To celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2008, they realised it was time to update a tired brand with a revitalised one to reflect their modern focus and innovative, original approach to this rather traditionally perceived industry. (The fact that we have managed to get a frog on the home page of the site suggests just how willing they are to embrace a new way of thinking!)

Helping promote wines
from The Douro
We have been helping our lovely recent
new client Westbury
Communications to promote wines from the Douro Wine
region in Portugal. Famed for its production of Port for over
500 years, the still red and white wines remain relatively
undiscovered in the U.K. so a retail push was in order.
Other exciting related projects include
a generic promotional campaign for Tawny Port.

Ascend fight off competition in 5-way HSBC
pitch
...
against some of the industries biggest names, including
the HSBC in-house team. The HSBC Research website, offering
content rich financial data, reports and forecasts, needed
a complete overhall. Ascend came through with a user-centric,
data driven, functional approach that avoided the temptation
to produce an over styled 'consumer focused' site.
